The House
Subtlehaus divides daily life into four simple spaces. The ground floor is for cooking and eating — kitchen and dining room, with a separate bathroom and toilet for privacy and cleanliness. Upstairs are a studio and a bedroom, plus a small sunlit balcony. None of the rooms is large, but each is just enough: nothing ornate, only what is real and balanced.
Workspace
A large worktable and chair, with a picture rail on the wall for hanging work, portrait sessions or filming. A desk lamp, a basic easel and some art supplies are available in the storage boxes; the room can be rearranged into a studio of your own.
Tatami Bedroom
A tatami room for rest, meditation and yoga. Three sets of futon are provided; personal items can be kept in the storage room.
Balcony
A small sunlit balcony off the bedroom, used for laundry and drying.
Dining Room
A space for making, reading, eating and conversation; the table and chairs can be arranged freely. If you prefer to live on the ground floor, this room can also serve as a bedroom.
Kitchen・Bath・Toilet
The kitchen has an IH stove, refrigerator, microwave and basic cookware for self-catering. The Japanese-style bathroom has a small tub, shower and washbasin; the toilet is a separate room.
